Steve Miller Band cancels summer tour due to climate change

No one will apparently be flying like an eagle this year now that the Steve Miller Band has nixed all of their upcoming tour dates, citing extreme weather as the root cause.

The Grammy Award-winning classic rock band, known for hit songs such as “Fly Like an Eagle” and “The Joker,” took to social media to shared the announcement that they are blaming the decision on “the weather” and told fans to “always trust your instincts.”

“The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires makes these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable,” the post read in part.

“You can blame it on the weather…The tour is cancelled,” the announcement continued. “Don’t know where, don’t know when…We hope to see you all again.”
